The welded assembly consists of more than 100 separate details to which the driver’s seat, steering column, gas, and brake pedals are attached, as well as numerous other parts and units required for the functioning of the tractor. All details must be positioned with millimetre exactness despite the metal’s desire to deform during welding. It is a challenge to prepare such assemblies so that their components do not require mechanical processing after welding, and that the required exactness is already achieved through intelligent welding.
